The California Urban Water Conservation Council is seeking to hire an administrative/executive assistant to work on a variety of interesting administrative tasks, including executive assistant work for the executive director and attending plenary and steering committee meetings for the purpose of taking minutes. Salary range is $41,600 - $47,840 yearly. Closing date is June 22, 2007.Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Â· Work primarily for the Executive Director, organizing meetings and performing executive-level assignments.Â· Coordinate with the Executive Director in the preparation and follow up with Council Plenary and Steering committee meetings (i.e. agenda packets, attachments, minutes etc)Â· Assist the Office Manager with administrative and bookkeeping duties as assigned.Â· Assist with Committee work and special projects as needed.Â· Assist in the preparation of Council workshops and training classes.Â· Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.Â· Handle membership inquiries and staff corresponding committee.Â· Track lending library equipment.Â· Answer telephone and record assistance requests as needed.Requirements:Â· Four years of college or equivalent experience.Â· Two years of additional experience working in a similar office environment. Â· Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.Â· Ability to work under pressure.
